Under the influence of the concept of "organic living", the market for organic food continues to heat up. Recently, a tomato sauce product that has passed the EU organic certification has entered the domestic market. With the full-chain organic control from planting to processing, it fully retains the natural nutrition and flavor of tomatoes, and quickly gained recognition from the middle and high-end consumer groups. Its sales exceeded 20 million yuan within two months of its launch.

The raw materials of this organic tomato sauce come from organic tomato plantations in southern Italy. During the cultivation process, organic agricultural standards are strictly followed, without the use of chemical pesticides, chemical fertilizers or genetically modified technology. Only natural organic fertilizers and biological control methods are used to cultivate tomatoes. Although the yield of organically grown tomatoes is lower than that of conventional-grown ones, the content of lycopene, vitamin C and other nutrients in the fruits is higher. Moreover, as it avoids the pollution of chemical substances, the natural flavor of tomatoes is purer.

During the processing stage, the product adopts the "physical pressing and low-temperature concentration" technique without adding any chemical additives. First, tomato juice is extracted through physical pressing to remove the skin and seeds, while retaining the fine texture of the flesh. Subsequently, concentration is carried out in a low-temperature environment of 50℃, reducing moisture while retaining nutrients to the greatest extent. After testing, the lycopene content of this organic tomato sauce is 30 milligrams per 100 grams, and the vitamin C content is 22 milligrams, both of which are higher than those of regular tomato sauce. Moreover, the pesticide residue test result of the product is "not detected", which meets the strict standards of organic food in the European Union.

In terms of flavor experience, organic tomato sauce has a richer texture, with a well-balanced ratio of sweet and sour, and a strong tomato aroma. It does not have the chemical odors that may exist in conventional products. Many consumers have said that when making pasta with this tomato sauce, it can present the authentic Italian flavor without adding any other seasonings, and the texture is almost the same as the tomato sauce tasted in local Italian restaurants.
